About the founder Brian R. Moon
I feel that I am one of the luckiest people in the world, and I am able to live my dream. Great family, great friends, and I am living my childhood fantasy of being an inventor.
I was fascinated with being an inventor back at the age of seven, starting with the movie "Back to the Future." My parents always managed to stop me from blowing up the house, but I found my groove in the theatrical world for the first time at the age of 12. I worked in stage crew and discovered my love of lighting design.
I attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for my BFA in Lighting Technologies. Working in the lighting industry as a Head Electrician, Moving Light Programmer and Field Service Technician eventually led me to a sales position. There I began talking with so many clients, hearing about needs for products that didn't exist. I left the sales position to co-found two companies and focus on a line of several lighting fixtures, of which I am still very proud of today. I love the "what- if's" of product design and helping to fill those gaps in the market.
How can what currently exists, be better? How can I create something new to work in a place of "x"? I want to work with clients in problem-solving and coming up with creative solutions along the way. I truly LOVE what I do.
An idea…that’s all any new invention/product starts with…an idea. A tangible item or concept of which can help save someone time or money.
